Cake (1997)
A cake with a secret code written in icing was donated to Cakewalk Magazine's launching auction/fundraiser. The top message of the cake stipulated that if the winning bidder solved the puzzle by a designated time an additional $50 would be donated to the magazine. The cipher was solved within a half-hour of the deadline aided by a "code cracking party" organized by the winning bidder.
